I’ve been going to Nadia at Nail First Salon for years, and she is truly the best! I never get anything simple — I always bring in something crazy, detailed, or out of the box — and somehow she always makes it even better than the picture. Her creativity and precision are unreal. The salon itself feels like family — everyone is so warm and welcoming every time I come in. Nadia always makes me feel comfortable, listened to, and excited for the final result. I leave every appointment blown away by how stunning my nails look. If you’re looking for someone who can handle the wildest nail ideas and turn them into absolute perfection, Nadia is the one!

I went here recently for the 3rd time and had a phenomenal experience with Nadia. My first two times I got dip manicures with two different people that were ok, but I’ve had better for the price. I decided to give them one more try and requested Nadia due to all of her positive reviews and recommendations here on Google and I was not disappointed! Nadia took the time to help me figure out what color I wanted for my pedicure and even sampled a few polishes for me. She asked questions through every step of the process to make sure she was doing my manicure and pedicure exactly how I wanted. She was very thorough with every detail and got my nail shape exactly right! I cannot say enough about how amazing Nadia was and I will definitely be going back to her from now on! I would also like to note that I have had the same dip manicure on my nails for three weeks now, and it is not lifting, which has been a huge problem for me in the past.
Jessica “Jess Rose” Pomaville — 5/5 (via Google)
I haven’t had my nails done in quite a few years. I called around a few places near 23 and Gratiot. Two were quite expensive and booked completely. I figured I would take a chance on this place. I got a full set of gels with shellac two colors for $40. It’s been a full week and they are still going strong polishing all. wanted to wait before I made this post. Now the only reason I’m giving four stars is because the lady that did my nails was quite rude and didn’t bother to thank me when I gave her a 40% tip. She also cut my cuticle with the tool. It would also have been helpful to let me know that there was a cash only policy for tips when I called, and that they prefer cash payments and offer discounts. All in all I got a beautiful set of nails and will be back for the price and product quality. UPDATE: Go to Nadia! I got Steve once and my fill was terrible. She’s done my last two sets (with designs) and they’ve been amazing! Will only go to her now.
